You may know that there are many different forms, or "schools", of Feng Shui that place an emphasis on different techniques and application.

Two of which are Classical Feng Shui and the Tibetan Black Hat School.

CLASSICAL FENG SHUI SCHOOL.

Classical Feng Shui School includes the consideration for the environment, time, and direction of the property. This approach includes Forms Feng Shui and Compass Feng Shui practices, where is one relates to the physical formations of the surrounding, and the other refers to the abstract, invisible influences affected by time and space.

Forms Feng Shui, or Landscape Feng Shui, is thought to be the oldest Feng Shui system, that focuses on physical landscape configuration of the environment.
This practice evaluate the location of mountains, terrains, lakes, rivers, and other bodies of water, as well as man-made objects, such as nearby buildings and roads.
Forms Feng Shui studied the influence of constellations, as well as the directional flow of energy fields on earth – where energy would gather, collect, and disperse.

Since Forms Feng Shui is primarily an external assessment, this system is especially useful if you are looking for a land to build a home or office building.
Compass School is more of formulaic calculations to determine how Qi affects you and your home. All formulaic systems are also based on direction, which incorporates the use of a Feng Shui compass known as the Luo Pan.

BLACK HAT SECT TANTRIC BUDDHISM FENG SHUI.

Black Hat, or “BTB,” is shortened for Black Hat Sect Tantric Buddhism Feng Shui.
The school combines the essence and philosophy of Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, holistic healing, transcendentalism, divination, psychology, and Classical Feng Shui.
It combines the art of meditation by quieting and centering the mind in order to intuitively feel the space and its energy.

The Black Hat school is a non-directional practice because it does not consider the use of compass and their Bagua Map is oriented to the entryway in any room every time.
You may know a little about all of them or you may have only heard of one, luckily, regardless of which system of Feng Shui you use, bear in mind the heart of Feng Shui lies in the study and observation of Qi….and unless you sleep outside, in the open air, on the ground, you need Fresh Energy Food to feed your cells and your House needs the same to be able to take care of you!….
